MacOS Golden Gate 27.0.1 Update with Bug Fixes Available to Download
Apple has released macOS 27.0.1 Golden Gate, the first software update to the new Golden Gate operating system. The update arrives as build 26A434 and includes unspecified bug fixes, and is available to download now. Because the release notes do not mention any particular bugs or issues, it’s a bit of a guessing game as to what is fixed, but if you have recently installed macOS Golden Gate it’s a good idea to install this update as it may address issues that are relevant to you.
Separately, Apple has also released iOS 27.0.1, iPadOS 27.0.1, macOS Tahoe 26.7.1, and MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1, iOS 26.7.1, and iPadOS 26.7.1, some of which contain bug fixes, and some of which are security focused updates instead.

- From the  Apple menu, open “System Settings”
- Go to “General”, and then go to “Software Update”
- When MacOS 27.0.1 appears as a software update, choose to “Update Now”
The Mac will need to restart to finish installation.
The update weighs around 3.3GB to download and may take a while to install, updating can be slow but just let it be.
