First Beta of iOS 15.3 & iPadOS 15.3 Released for Testing
The first beta versions of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 are now available for testing to users enrolled in the beta testing programs.
The iPhone and iPad system software beta builds arrive a day after Mac beta testers got access to macOS Monterey 12.2 beta 1.
Additionally, the first betas of watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3 are also available for testing.
No major new features are expected in iOS 15.3 or ipadOS 15.3, suggesting the updates will instead focus on bug fixes, feature refinements, and security improvements.
Users who are enrolled in the respective beta testing programs for iPhone and iPad can find the first beta build of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 available now through the Software Update section of the Settings app.
Apple usually goes through a handful of beta versions before issuing a final build to the public, suggesting that iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 will be due sometime in the coming months, likely in the winter 2022 timeframe.
