YOu had already stated that iPad 10.2 (9th generation) would run iOS 17. I installed it and it works, including the 17.01 booster. Please correct your information.

Yes your iPad 9th generation can run iPadOS 17, it is covered under “iPad 6th generation and later”, since the 9th generation iPad is later than the 6th.
