Updated my Intel iMac to 15.6, got a message that future versions of macOS would not support AFP for Time Machine backups to my NAS. I changed my TM connection to SMB, no more warning but now the backups to NAS take forever. In Time Machine settings, the Preparing Backup part just sits there for a ridiculously long time before anything starts to actually write to the NAS. Not an improvement!
