Apple has released spec-bumps to the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro lineup, bringing all of the laptops into the M5 chip world, with faster memory and storage. Additionally, the company has released two new 27″ Apple Studio Display models.

The updated Macs include nice new internal specs and options but are not redesigned, so the hardware enclosures and color options remain the same as prior models.

MacBook Air gains the M5 processor, larger base storage (512GB instead of 256GB) with faster read/write and options to upgrade to up to 4TB, and a higher price tag (starting at $1099), but disappointingly there’s no new color option this time around – however you’ll still have the sky blue, midnight blue, and starlight options to choose from. RAM options remain the same as well; 16GB, 24GB, 32GB.

The M5 MacBook Air 13″ starts at $1099, and the 15″ model starts at $1299.

Pre-orders are available on Wednesday, and will ship on March 11.

The 14″ MacBook Pro with M5 Pro starts at $2,199, while the 16″ model starts at $2,699.

The new MacBook Pro will ship on March 11, and you can pre-order it starting tomorrow.
