Quick Tip: In Safari, hit Command-Option-F to jump to the Search box

Safari is really settling it’s spot as my preferred web browser. Sure, I miss the plugins in Firefox, but it just can’t beat the speed of Safari. You can make your Safari web browsing experience even better by using Command-Option-F to jump to the Search box, nice!

I’ve made a total habit of using Command+L in the browsers I use to get the address bar. And Control-L with windows. I think it’s one of the most direct ways of getting to a web site. I always try to show that to people because some have so much trouble editing the address in the bar. I see people click up there and then delete stuff instead of just typing while it’s highlighted. “Hit Command+L and just start typing,” I tell them!
Why am I saying this?? Because I also have a habit of hitting Command+L and then tab to get to the search – but it’s good to know what the direct route is – thanks.
I’m loving the posting frequency you’ve got going! Nice ! Drop me an email, I’ve lost track of yours. Thanks!
