iOS 12 beta 3 available to download now

Apple has released iOS 12 beta 3 for users participating in the iOS beta testing program.

The initial iOS 12 beta 3 release is available for any iPhone or iPad enrolled in the developer beta testing program. The public beta release followed soon after, versioned as public beta 2.

Users actively participating in the iOS 12 beta program can find the latest update available to download now via the Software Update mechanism of the Settings application.

The developer release of iOS 12 beta 3 is available to download right now, while typically the public beta build of the same release arrives a bit later and often a version number behind. The equivalent public beta version is iOS 12 public beta 2, which is available now to download:

Anyone can enroll in and install the iOS 12 public beta (or run the iOS 12 developer beta for that matter) onto any device that supports iOS 12, but because beta software is less stable than a final version it’s generally not recommended for novice users, or for primary devices.

Separately, Apple has also released macOS Mojave beta 3, alongside new developer betas for tvOS and watchOS.

It’s also noteworthy to recall that iOS 12 and macOS Mojave 10.14 beta are entirely separate from the additional ongoing beta development of iOS 11.4.1 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.

iOS 12 is set to bring a variety of new features for the iPhone and iPad, including group FaceTime chat, new Animoji, an ability to create your own customized Animoji avatar for iPhone X users, a feature which allows you to track how often you use an iPhone or iPad, some changes to various built-in apps, a new measuring app, and a variety of other small features and improvements, along with performance enhancements.

The final version of iOS 12 has a release date timeline set for the fall of this year.

Hello I installed beta 3, but due to bugs found, i downgraded to release 11.4 and for my surprise it crashed my FaceTime and iMessage. It does not activate anymore.
I tried everything. It appears only my Apple id on both. My cellphone number has been vanished.

Do you if Apple is aware about it ? Do you know to fix it ?

Is it necessary to buy another device ?

    Thanks
