Apple has released two notable iPhone 4S commercials that feature popular celebrities using Siri. The first TV ad shows Samuel L Jackson planning a special evening with his wife thanks to the help of Siri, and the second commercial shows Zooey Deschanel using Siri to manage a lazy rainy day. Both commercials can be viewed embedded below.

Alongside the new iPad, Apple has started to air a new TV commercial for the device. The ad focuses on the iPads new Retina display, which by all accounts is simply gorgeous in person. Text of the commercial is as follows:

“When a screen becomes this good, colors are more vibrant, words are pin sharp, everything is more brilliant. Because when a screen becomes this good, it’s simply you and the things you care about. The stunning retina display, on the new iPad.”

The resolution of the new iPads display is 2048×1536, twice that of it’s predecessor. The screen is also said to have better color reproduction and improved saturation.

You can pre-order the new iPad right now, the release date is set for March 16.

Apple started airing a new iPhone 4S commercial on Sunday night that emphasizes iCloud. The ad shows iCloud automatically syncing calendars, photos, apps, contacts, music, and books, between an iPhone 4S and a variety of other Apple devices, including an iPad, iMac, and MacBook Air. The commercial ends with the text “Automatic. Everywhere. iCloud.” and the iPhone 4S monicker.

It’d be easy to mistake the TV ad for an Apple product other than the iPhone 4S, and that very well may be the point in that it demonstrates how well Apple products work with each other, particularly with iCloud.

If you haven’t set up iCloud yet, you should, the free service is genuinely useful and mostly seamless.

The second ad is titled “Rock God” and features a teenagers journey with music, aided by none other than Siri. Both follow the same recurring theme as past iPhone 4S commercials and have the same background tune. You can watch both of them below.

As usual with Apples commercials, the objective is to show how people interact with the iPhone and Siri in real life situations. Although they aren’t as fun as the classic Santa Siri ad, they both do a good job of conveying how useful Siri is for getting directions, finding food and events, retrieving information, sending text messages, and many other daily tasks.

These ads started to air earlier in the week, but weren’t posted online until this evening.

Apple has started to air a new Christmas themed TV ad for the iPhone 4S and Siri featuring none other than Santa Claus. The commercial is the most entertaining iPhone 4S ad yet and features Santa asking Siri for directions, what kind of weather to expect at various locations around the country, requesting an email from Mrs Claus, and finally asking about his schedule, which Siri responds is filled with 3.7 billion appointments.

The ad has the same background music as past iPhone 4S commercials, which actually sounds a bit like Christmas music at this point. It’s also worth pointing out that the ad doesn’t even mention either the iPhone 4S or Siri by name, it just shows an Apple logo at the end.

Apple has been airing several iPhone 4S commercials, a few focus on Siri, while others center on iCloud or the new camera. Each ad shares the same background music, and what’s the tunes name? The song is Orchestral – “Goldengrove v2″ by Keith Kenniff, an American composer.

The song is instrumental, contrasting the poppy sound of the song played in the new iPod touch ad or The Beatles classic heard in the recent “Cover” commercial.

Somewhat strangely, Orchestral – “Goldengrove v2″ doesn’t appear to be available for purchase on iTunes, but you can listen to it above, on YouTube below, or directly on the artists Soundcloud page, it’s about 1:30 long.

Apple has started to air a new iTunes TV ad featuring The Beatles. The commercial is called “Covers” and transitions through The Beatles catalog that is available on iTunes, with the classic Beatles song “Magical Mystery Tour” playing in the background of the commercial.

This feels very much like an Apple ad, although it’s obviously targeting a slightly different demographic than the new “Share the Fun” iPod touch commercial does.

The ads release coincides with the iBookstore version of The Beatles Yellow Submarine, a free illustrated book from the iBookstore.

Apple has started to air a new iPod Touch commercial titled “Share The Fun”, the commercial features both the 4th gen white and black iPod touches being used to play games on Game Cnter, take pictures, tweet, use FaceTime, and a variety of other fun activities.

This one is much more similar to the fun and upbeat iPod and iPod touch commercials from the past with a playful feel to it, compared to the more serious iPad 2 commercials and the new Siri iPhone 4S commercials that focus on the real life uses of the device.

Apple started airing a new iPad 2 commercial titled “Love” last night, it follows the same theme set by past iPad 2 ads closely, and shows a variety of people using the device in different ways. Here’s the text:
