Space ish wallpapers

Bored with your current wallpaper? Why not spruce up your home screen or desktop picture background with one of these four seven nine (added a few more per request) galactic-ish crazy colored abstract spacey-themed images?

These wallpapers were hand crafted in Pixelmator to fit in with the bright color themes offered by modern iOS and sent in by one of our readers (thanks James!) to share with everyone, so check them all out and see if you find one that fits the look you’re aiming for on your device. Each of the images is sized at a hefty HD resolution of 2048×2048 pixels to accommodate most Mac and PC desktop displays, iPhones, Androids, and of course, any iPad with retina display.

Click any image to open the full size version, note that due to the HD resolution each file size is rather large and may take a moment to download:

Great wallpapers, looks fantastic on my Mac. They look great on the iPhone too, but holy cow does the iPhone 5 struggle loading large images! I can’t believe Apple is thinking about putting ARM processors in the Mac lineup… what a disaster that would be! Apple’s iDevice CPU chips are slooooooow as molasses!

All of them are great. I like blue one best. Looks like stars in daylight. Very generous of you to share these.

I like the blue one too but I wish it was slightly more natural colors like the sky rather than the bright blues. Yes the bright colors fit in great with iOS 7 and iOS 8 and iOS 2014 Jony Ive, but you know at some point we’re going to look at the hypercolor revolution and think, wow what the heck were they thinking? The same way we look at Bell Bottoms and Bowl Cuts.

The topmost bright pink and orange sherbert looking delicious one is the best

    Thanks!
