MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 Beta 3 Available for Testing
MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 beta 3 has been for testing by Apple. Mac users who are currently enrolled in the Mac system software beta testing program will find the new beta software update available to download now.
The latest MacOS Catalina beta arrives a few days after iOS 13.3.1 beta 3 and iPadOS 13.3.1 beta 3 were released for testing for iPhone and iPad users.
MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 beta 3 is assumed to focus primarily on bug fixes, enhancements, and small improvements to MacOS Catalina, perhaps addressing some of the lingering problems with macOS Catalina experienced by some Catalina users. It’s unlikely that any major new features will be included in the release.
Those who are actively enrolled in the MacOS beta testing program can find MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 beta 3 update as a download right now from the “Software Update” section of System Preferences.
The latest available stable final build of MacOS Catalina is currently MacOS Catalina 10.15.2.
Apple usually goes through several beta versions of system software before releasing a final build version to the general public, so it’s reasonable to expect that macOS 10.15.3 will be finalized sometime in the coming weeks or months.
It’s totally useless to post about this unless you also include what the update will fix or change.
