Beta 3 of iOS 14.2, iPadOS 14.3 Released Along with iOS 14.1 & iPadOS 14.1 GM
Apple has released a series of new beta versions of system software today, including iOS 14.2 beta 3, iPadOS 14.2 beta 3, watchOS 7.1 beta 3, and tvOS 14.2 beta 3.
Additionally, Apple also released iOS 14.1 GM & iPadOS 14.1 GM to developers, suggesting the final versions of iOS 14.1 and iPadOS 14.1 are imminent, perhaps arriving with or before the freshly announced iPhone 12 series in the near future.
Users who are participating in the beta testing programs for iOS and iPadOS can find the latest beta updates available now from the Software Update section of the Settings app.
If you’re already running the iOS 14.2 or ipadOS 14.2 beta, then you’ll find beta 3 of that available.
Meanwhile, iOS 14.1 GM and iPadOS 14.1 GM are available to download from the Apple developer website for the time being.
watchOS 7.1 beta 3 and tvOS 14.2 beta 3 are also available through their respective Software Update sections for users beta testing system software eon their Apple Watch and Apple TV.
There is not currently a new update for macOS Big Sur, though rumors have suggested it may be finalized in the near future for widespread public release.
Apple usually goes through several beta builds of system software before issuing a final version to the general public.
