Beta 3 of iOS 14.7, iPadOS 14.7, macOS 11.5 Available for Testing
Apple has released the third beta versions of iOS 14.7, iPadOS 14.7, macOS Big Sur 11.5, watchOS 7.6, and tvOS 14.7.
These ongoing beta releases for current generation system software are separate from the concurrent beta program for the next major versions of operating systems, which includes iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey 12, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15.
The new beta versions are likely continuing the focus on bug fixes and minor improvements to the various Apple operating systems, and no new features are expected.
Users enrolled in the beta testing programs can find the latest beta 3 updates available now through the Software Update mechanisms on their respective devices.
For iOS/iPadOS beta testers, go to Settings > General > Software Update
In macOS beta testers, go to > System Preferences > Software Update
For users enrolled in iOS/iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey beta programs, you will not be able to get the beta versions of iOS 14.7 beta 3 or macOS Big Sur 11.5 beta 3 without downgrading or reinstalling system software.
The latest non-beta system software is currently iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 for newer iPhone and iPad models, iOS 12.5.4 for older iPhone and iPad models, macOS Big Sur 11.4 for Macs, tvOS 14.6 for Apple TV, and watchOS 7.5 for Apple Watch.
