Therefore, if you’re not sure when a particular game comes out, you can read along as we’ll be guiding you on how to get notified of new Apple Arcade games that are listed as coming soon.
How to Get Notified of New Apple Arcade Games
As long as your device is running a fairly recent version of iOS or iPadOS, you’re ready to go ahead with the following procedure. Here’s what you need to do:
- First of all, launch the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Head over to the “Arcade” section of the App Store from the bottom menu, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Now, scroll down below until you get to the Coming Soon section. You’ll find all the upcoming games here. You can swipe right or left on the cards here to see what they are. When you find a game that interests you, tap on “GET”.
- You’ll now get a pop-up message on your screen stating that you’ll be notified when this game becomes available.
That’s it. You’ll notice that the GET button is now grayed out.
Now that you’ve done this, you will receive a notification on your iPhone or iPad when the game actually goes live on Apple Arcade. You’ll also receive an e-mail regarding the same. But, the best part is that the game will automatically be installed on your device the minute it launches, so you’re ready to start playing when you get that notification.
This particular technique works for all games that are listed under the Coming Soon section. However, if you accidentally tapped on “GET” and want to revert your action, we hate to break it to you, but it’s not possible. The GET option will continue to remain grayed out until the game releases and is installed on your device.
If you play Apple Arcade games on other Apple devices, the GET option will be grayed out on all the devices that you’re signed into with your Apple ID. However, the game will only be installed on the device you used to notify yourself at first.
