iOS 26.7 Update Released for iPhone & iPad with Security Fixes
Apple has released iOS 26.7 for iPhone and iPadOS 26.7 for iPad as security focused software updates for users who are not yet ready to jump onto iOS 27 or iPadOS 27.
Over 100 security fixes are included in the iOS 26.7 update, but no new features or other changes are along for the ride.
Separately, Apple has released a bevy of other software updates including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, MacOS 27 Golden Gate, MacOS Tahoe 26.7, MacOS Sequoia 15.8, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27.
How to Download & Install iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7 Update
Backup iPhone/iPad to iCloud, and then proceed with the update:
- Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone or iPad
- Go to “General” and then go to “Software Update”
- Select to “Update Now” for iOS 26.7 / iPadOS 26.7 (you may need to scroll past the iOS 27 update to see this)
Your iPhone or iPad must restart to finish installation.
Users can also install the iOS 26.7 / iPadOS 26.7 update using a computer, or with IPSW files.
