If you’re running other beta system software, don’t forget to check for software updates on your Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, or any other iPhone or iPad hardware that is beta testing.

Technically speaking, any user can enroll in the Apple Developer beta testing program and install iOS 26 beta onto iPhone or iPad, though due to the nature of beta system software, it’s generally not advised to do so aside from advanced users.

Apple has said the final version of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 will be released in the fall.
