Shot on iPhone commercials

Apple is running eight new “Shot on iPhone” ads, demonstrating the impressive recording capabilities available with the latest iPhone cameras.

The commercials show off various camera effects that are possible with iPhone, including multiple instances of recording slow motion video on iPhone, a time-lapse recording video captured on iPhone, and perhaps even recording 4K video as well, though all of the videos are 1080p on YouTube.

Each video is about 15 seconds long and has been embedded below for easy viewing, along with the songs featured in the commercials (Apple notes the songs and location of the videos in the YouTube notes, for those wondering).

With all those balloons released in that commercial…Did that stunt include their clean up? I sure hope so.

For anyone wondering how to get your pics and vids on iPhone commercial. Apple isn’t accepting vids or pics directly. They’re looking all over social media and Flickr. If they want your vid they will request permission to use it and verify that it was taken with an iPhone 6.

Yes this is true, Apple finds the pictures themselves for iPhone commercials. You put them on Instagram with hashtags like #iphone #shotoniphone But what is also true is that most peoples pictures are terrible, which is why they look for them. If they allowed submissions of pictures for the iPhone commercials, it would be nothing but garbage photos.

Perhaps this might be interesting: a few days ago, I have finished a DIY video for one of our band’s songs (the language is Slovak). The entire thing is shot on iPhone 6S plus, no additional lens or anything.

Impressive pictures as always, I like these ad campaigns, way better than the junk for Beats Music and some of the other oddballs out there.
