iOS 12.4 Beta 7 Released for Testing
Apple has released iOS 12.4 beta 7 to users enrolled in the iOS 12 beta testing program. This beta release is separate from the ongoing iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 beta testing programs.
Apple usually goes through a variety of beta builds before issuing a final version to the general public, this could indicate that a final release of iOS 12.4 is just around the corner.
It is widely assumed that iOS 12.4 will include support for the Apple Card credit card, though aside from that no new features are expected to be included in the release.
Users who are enrolled in the iOS 12 beta program can find iOS 12.4 beta 7 to download now from the Software Update section of the Settings app on their iPhone or iPad.
Yesterday, Apple released MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 beta 5 to Mac beta testers.
Users who are beta testing Apple Watch system software will also find a new watchOS 5.3 beta 5 available.
Separately, Apple continues to beta test the next major release versions of iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS, each of which includes major new features and changes to the respective operating systems. Currently those beta releases are at iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 public beta 2 and the accompanying iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 developer beta 3, and MacOS Catalina 10.15 public beta 2 and macOS Catalina developer beta 4. The final builds of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, and MacOS Catalina 10.15 are set to launch this fall to the general public.
