Mac Setups: iMac with a view
Nov 6, 2010 - 9 Comments

This iMac sits at a desk overlooking a pretty amazing view of what must be the San Francisco Bay. With all that sunlight pouring in you might need to use sunglasses just sitting at the desk! I think this easily takes the prize for ‘best view’ in our Mac Setups, with the telecommuting MacBook Pro a close second.

These two pictures came from AppleSpotlight on Twitter.

Yep – What a view – I’d kill to wake up to that every morning, but take that away and you have a pretty uninspiring, unimaginative desk, no? It’s a bit of wood with an iMac on….
Yea the view is nice, but what about reflections on the screen?
Glare hell!
i agree! polarized glasses might be necessary.
love it , simple n awesome,, all u need.
for some of us, thats all we need
Might be horrid with all that light right into your eyes…:(
That printer has to go someplace not on the desk. What a waste of workspace.
I took those pics! This is the setup in a house in Sausalito, CA – just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Looking out the window (top pic), you can see the city.
The house itself is a little funky, but still amazing. The entire inside decor is wood, and it feels like you are on a boat. Their is an elevator, professional kitchen, and an awesome rooftop deck. Trust me…you would put up with any glare (which wasn’t as bad as you’d think) for that view
The view is just amazing, I would certainly put up with any glare to see that everyday from my workstation.
Thanks for the info!
