April Fools Day Fun with Siri

Siri April Fools comments

The internet is generally pretty useless on April Fools day, which makes April 1st a great day to basically ignore anything you see online because it’s probably a prank, a joke, or outright fake. We’ve shared plenty of April Fools pranks before here too, one of my personal favorites is the “iPhone is Disabled” wallpaper prank but there are many other funny iPhone pranks and Mac pranks too.

Of course everyones favorite virtual assistant Siri has to get in on the fun too then, right? And Siri does, with a handful of witty comments and goofy statements if you inquire about the day.

Rather than Siri give you a bunch of nonsense when you initiate a genuine request, you can solicit April Fools responses from Siri by asking questions about the day directly. If you want to see what Siri has to say about today, try the following questions:

  • What are you doing today?
  • What day is it today?
  • April fools
  • Hey Siri, April fools
  • Tell me an April fools joke

You’ll get a variety of responses from Siri, and you can initiate the requests from an iPhone, Mac, or iPad with Siri.

These are just some of the many funny Siri commands that are available, summon the little AI assistant and have a good time.

You can check out some of our past April Fools posts too if you’re interested.

  1. Do not reply says:

Interestingly, “Hey Siri, toss a coin” did not result any useful result at all. Rolling a dice did though
