Ultrasn0w Unlock for iOS 4.2.1 Download Available

Ultrasn0w has been updated to ultrasn0w 1.2 which works to unlock iOS 4.2.1 running on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. If you’re an unlocker that is currently stuck at 05.14 or 05.15 you will need to update to 06.15 (the iPad 3.2.2 firmware) to regain the ability to unlock using the newly available PwnageTool 4.1.3 Unlock Edition or redsn0w update.
Download Ultrasn0w for iOS 4.2.1
You can get ultrasn0w 1.2 from the updated ultrasn0w repository within Cydia, this obviously requires a jailbroken iPhone:
- Launch Cydia
- Add the following repository: http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
- After the repository has been added, you can then search Cydia for “ultrasn0w” version 1.2
After you download and install ultrasn0w 1.2 you will then be able to unlock your iPhone 3G or 3GS running iOS 4.2.1. This update will allow ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00 via the iPad IPSW.

i did that before and worked beautifullt but this time wifi is not working.
so i finished installing ultrasnow and now it says “Could not activate cellular data network” what now?
so it says add repositary. how do i do this in cydia?

thanks it works for me, i’ve been trying to search for info for couple of days. I was able to jailbreak for iPad1 n iPhone 3g for friend ^_^ I think I’m pretty good at this now hehehehe. The hard part is finding info and download the necessary tool. once again thanks.
I am new to all this, and I have a 3GS that is jail broken with cydia. Now I’m trying to unlock it with ultrasnow but I can’t get it added with cydia. My phone has 5.1 and the bb is 5.16.05. Do I need to switch firmwares? Is that risky? What do I need to do?
hey everyone! im stuck on that no service thingy after jailbreaking 3g os 4.2.1 with redsn0w 096b5. it unlocked just fine but no simcard i insert has signal…
So, i read that u have to install the redsnow with ipad baseband cuz 051504 is not able to interact with ultrasnow… but before i void the so called warranties i’d like to know if anyone have done that… safely and working…
Some posts i read said that is very risky to do so and some didnt even worked…. Im about to uninstall completely the cydia thing and redo it all with the ipad baseband selection…

Help please! I have successfully upgraded my 3G to 4.2.1 and then unlocked it with ultrasn0w to use on my carrier outside of the US. I am at a loss though with getting my PUSH NOTIFICATIONS settled. I keep getting error messages when I try to install any form of push doctor….. any help would be appreciated!
hey i did all this but have lost all sound (ie my phone doesn’t ring, text messages make no sounds, i cannot hear a person unless i put them on speaker phone)

My iphone 3g is jailbroken. I am on 5.15.04. I have cydia. I installed ultrasn0w, did the airplane mode, etc, rebooted, but no 06.15.00. I’ve done this multiple times and assume I am doing something wrong since I still have the old firmware. Suggestions?

I did this as the instructions said but after the pineapple running it told me to please wait flashing basband, after that it restarted now its stuck on the apple logo turning its self on and off.

the guidelines worked great.
upgraded to 06.15 baseband wile jailbreaking.
after that went to cidia and found the link to ultrasnow.
the phone works great with no limitations (gps working).

put the phone in restore mode and restore the os.
after that run the redsnow with the ipsw 4.2.1
then after that go to cydia and look for the link of ultrasnow, run it and you are unlocked to all networks.
it worked for me.

i dont have a att simcard so im stuck plug in logo how do i unlock it?
