Beta 2 of iOS / iPadOS 13.3.1, MacOS 10.15.3, Released for Testing
Apple has released the second beta versions of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, MacOS Catalina 10.15.3, tvOS 13.3.1, and watchOS 6.1.2.
The new beta builds of system software for various Apple devices is available to download now for anyone participating in the beta testing programs, both as developer beta and as public beta versions.
Each beta release presumably focuses on bug fixes and security enhancements, with no major new features expected to arrive to iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, tvOS, or watchOS. It is possible that macOS 10.15.3 will resolve some of the lingering problems with Catalina that have persisted across existing releases for some MacOS Catalina users.
If you’re an iPad or iPhone beta tester, you can find iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 available to download now from the Software Update section of the Settings app.
Mac beta testers can find MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 beta 2 available to download now from the System Preferences Software Update control panel.
tvOS beta can be updated through the Apple TV Settings app.
watchOS beta can be updated through the paired iPhone’s Watch app.
Apple usually goes through several beta versions before issuing a final version to the general public, this could suggest the final builds of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, MacOS Catalina 10.15.3, tvOS 13.3.1, and watchOS 6.1.2 are still some weeks away.
Hey, thanks for the update. Previous beta versions of iOS were not cumbersome, so I guess I may give all upcoming betas a try. Thanks again!
