2nd Public Beta of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, & MacOS 27 Golden Gate Available for Testing

Apple has released the second public beta versions of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and MacOS 27 Golden Gate, to users who are eligible. If you’re interested in installing those betas on your device, you can read instructions for iPhone and iPad here, or for Mac here.
MacOS 27, iOS 27, and iPadOS 27 have an emphasis on performance enhancements, with improvements to Spotlight, general system performance, and more. There are also refinements made to the Liquid Glass interface, including a slider to adjust the intensity of the interfaces appearance. Users will also find a new Siri app, new Siri AI features, and new Apple Intelligence features.
How to Update to iOS 27 Public Beta 2 on iPhone or iPad
If you have not already installed the public beta on your iPhone or iPad you need to do that first to be able to access these updates:
- Open “Settings” app, then to “General” and to “Software Update”
- Choose to install the “iOS 27 Public Beta 2” update
Your device must restart to finish installation.
How to Get MacOS 27 Golden Gate Public Beta
You must have already installed the MacOS 27 public beta to find the public beta updates available
- Go to  Apple menu, and then go to “System Settings”
- Go to “General” and choose “Software Update”
- Choose to install “MacOS 27 Golden Gate Public Beta 2”
The Mac will restart to complete installation.
The second public beta builds for the iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or MacOS 27 versions match the fourth developer beta builds, which is typical.
Apple has said the final versions of iOS 27, MacOS 27 Golden Gate, and iPadOS 27, will be released this fall.
