Apple has released the second beta versions of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, macOS Catalina 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2, and tvOS 13.4 for users involved in the various beta system software testing programs. The new beta builds are initially available to developers and are then followed by public beta versions soon afterwards.

The new beta builds likely focus primarily on bug fixes and security enhancements to the operating systems, but there are some minor changes to other features particularly in iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4, including redesigning the Mail toolbar presumably to help stop accidental deletions of emails on iPhone and iPad running iPadOS and iOS 13 current versions, support for iCloud folder sharing, and some new Memoji features. As the system software remains in beta it’s always possible these features and changes will adjust or not be included in the final release versions.

Users who are enrolled in the various beta testing programs for Apple system software can find the latest beta builds available to download now through the respective software update mechanisms on those enrolled devices.

For iOS 13.4 beta 2 and iPadOS 13.4 beta 2, beta testers can find the latest version available through the Settings app > Software Update feature. The latest beta build is 17E5233g.

For macOS Catalina 10.15.4 beta 2, beta users can find the latest beta build available from System Preferences > Software Update.

Both watchOS 6.2 beta 2 and tvOS 13.4 beta 2 can be downloaded through their respective settings apps as well.

Apple usually goes through various beta versions before issuing a final version to the general public. With beta 2 just now released, it’s reasonable to expect the final builds of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, macOS Catalina 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2, and tvOS 13.4 to be some weeks or months away, perhaps releasing in later March or early April when there are some mixed rumors of an Apple event occurring.

The latest stable versions of system software available to the general public are currently iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 for iPhone and iPad, iOS 12.4.5 for older iPhone and iPad models, macOS 10.15.3 Catalina, along with security updates for MacOS Mojave and MacOS High Sierra for Mac, watchOS 6.1.2 for Apple Watch, and tvOS 13.3 for Apple TV.
