I think the new App is awful, its bad enough on my Macbook having to use 3 keys to do a screen capture where 2 would suffice or even one like in Windows.

The whole point of screen capture is you normally want access to that information immediately so you can send it to someone or edit it for use somewhere else.

I certainly never use screen capture just for saving it to use it in a month, I want access now so in my humble opinion it should be
1: Easy to take the screen capture in IOS and OSX.
2: Be available to my fingertips in a click not drill down through several layers of a program to access it.

I still for the life of me dont know why they had to mess with the Photos appin the first place, they could have done so much more to the App to make it more popular with much better editing tools but no, lets just mess with the interface to confuse everyone.

Its had a few tweaks I admit but it hasnt gone anywhere near far enough to make me want to use it as my main goto App for photos and to be honest as a App built into the actual system it should have that GOTO experience but it doesnt by a long way

I am not asking for a mini version of Photoshop but it should easily be able to hold its own along the lines of Snapseed or similar which is free after all yet one of Apple’s flagship Apps is in reality a damp squib.

It’s a shame because the whole seamless integration between the various Apple devices is what makes it stand out from the rest and yet it is let down by a terrible interface and by designers who clearly do not live in the real world or simply dont understand what they are being asked to design.

If there was some reason, productivity or else, then please tell us how these changes make photos better?
