UNO 1.5 Released
Yes we have covered UNO in the past, but todays release of version 1.5 is a complete rewrite, offering even more features and interface improvements. For those that don’t know, UNO offers interface enhancements to Mac OS X to remove the brushed metal interface, thus unifying the appearance of Mac OS X to more closely resemble the sleek iTunes GUI. The new version also finally fixes some interface troubles with iTunes and Quicktime. Useful? Not really, it’s pure eye candy. Check out the screenshot below, and unify your Mac’s GUI!
same question !!!!
where is the progress if apple introduced new screens brighter, but at the same time the appearance is darker !!! Since I upgraded from Tiger, I have to set my display brighter in order to see the tabs in Safari (!!) Awfull !
Any way to re-introduce the Tiger Brushed Metal Look? This metal look was wonderful, but it has been removed from Leopard. Is there a utility that will re-install the Brushed Metal look into Leopard?
Re-installing iTunes fixed the problem with the blank view.
I installed UNO and now iTunes displays a ‘blank’ view. Only the iTunes store displays anything.
I downloaded Uno a few days ago and havent found any compatability issues whats so ever. I hate the brushed metal interface and this works perfectly.
finally, I hate that ugly metal interface that is randomly thrown in there at the Finder and Safari
Great finally, I was holding off on UNO because of the iTunes glitches but it looks like it is resolved.
PS: the link works fine for me, Jonathan, try again?
Hmm.. the link isn’t working for me — either of them.
Works like a charm. Great job to the dev(s).
