iOS 26.6.2 & iPadOS 26.6.2 Updates Available with Fix for Cellular Updating
Apple has released iOS 26.6.2 for iPhone and iPadOS 26.6.2 for iPad. The software updates provide a fix to address an issue with updating software updates over a cellular connection.
There are no concurrent software updates available for other devices or Apple hardware.
How to Download & Install iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2 Update
As usual, be sure to backup iPhone or iPad to iCloud first, then proceed with your update:
- Open the “Settings” app on the iPhone or iPad
- Go to “General”, then go to “Software Update”
- Choose to “Update Now” to download and install the iOS 26.6.2 / iPadOS 26.6.2 update
Your device will need to reboot to complete installation.
You can also install the update with a computer, or manually with IPSW files.
