How to Hide App Pages on iPhone App Library

Do you have too many app pages on on your iPhon ehome screen? Thanks to the App Library feature of the latest iOS, you can now clean up your home screen by hiding unnecessary pages. This is made easy with the help of the new App Library feature, and much like you can move and delete apps from the App Library you can also hide app pages too.

If you’ve been an iPhone user for the past few years at least, you would have filled up several pages of your home screen with just apps that you’ve gradually downloaded and installed from the App Store. At this point, finding and opening a specific application by scrolling through multiple pages is may be a challenge due to the sheer number of apps installed on your device. By choosing to hide these additional pages, you’re making the apps stored in them to be accessible from the App Library.

Interested in keeping your home screen well-organized with the help of App Library? Read on as we’ll cover how you can hide app pages from your iOS home screen.

How to Hide App Pages on iPhone App Library

Before you go ahead with the procedure, make sure your device is running iOS 14 or later, since this feature isn’t available on older versions. Now, without further ado, let’s take a look at the necessary steps.

  1. To hide your home screen pages, you’ll need to head over to the Edit Pages menu. To do this, long-press on the home screen to enter jiggle mode and tap on the dot icon as shown below.

  2. Now, you can uncheck the pages that you want to hide. The apps stored in these hidden pages will be accessible from the App Library. Tap on “Done” at the top-right corner of the screen to save the changes. To view the App Library, swipe past the last page on your home screen.

That’s pretty much all there is to it. You’ve successfully hidden unwanted pages of apps from your iPhone’s home screen.

This is probably the fastest and most convenient way to get rid of the clutter on your home screen and keep all of your apps neatly organized. Since these apps are now exclusively stored in the App Library, you don’t even have to manually manage it as they’re all automatically sorted by category and stored in folders.

Unfortunately, App Library isn’t available on iPadOS 14 for some reason, so you’re out of luck if you were looking to hide app pages from your iPad’s home screen.

If you want to move some of the apps that are still on the home screen, you can simply long-press to enter jiggle mode and tap on the “-” icon next to an app. In addition to the usual “Delete App” option, you’ll also find a new “Move to App Library” option.

We hope you were able to minimize the number of app pages and clean up your home screen with the help of App Library. This works great! I only wish there was a way to re-organize the app library according to my preferences, not using apple’s default way.
