How to Delete All Health Data from iPhone

Apple’s Health app that’s pre-installed on iOS devices keeps track of your footsteps, nutrition, hearing audio levels, heart rate and a lot more. However, you can easily remove all this data at any time from your iPhone or iPad.

Most people would prefer to keep their Health data for sharing it with their doctors or family members. Over time, the data that’s collected by the Health app could end up taking a considerable amount of storage space on your iOS device. So, you might want to clear them out every now and then. This could also come in handy if you share one of your devices like the Apple Watch with your family members and you’re concerned about your privacy.

Want to learn how you can free up storage space consumed by the Health app? Look no further, because in this article, we’ll be discussing exactly how you can delete all Health data from your iPhone.

That’s pretty much all the steps you need to follow, in order to remove Health data from your iPhone or iPad.

Similarly, you can remove data collected by the Health app on all of your other devices. You can also remove Health data on a per-app basis, but you’ll need to do this within the Health app itself.

Until the iOS 13 update, there was no option to collectively remove all the health data and users had to manually delete it for each app that makes use of Health.

If your device is running an older version of iOS, the steps to remove your Health app data is quite different. From now on, regardless of what iOS device you use and whatever your reason for deletion is, you have complete control over all the data that’s tracked and stored by Apple Health.

Are you removing Health data from your device due to privacy concerns? If so, you might be interested in managing which apps access your location data on your iOS device too. Plus, you can also turn off features like Significant Locations to prevent Apple Maps from keeping track of your recently visited places.

We hope you managed to remove all the health data from your iPhone and iPad to free up storage space. How much storage was it consuming? How often do you plan on wiping out this data? Do share your thoughts and experience in the comments section down below.

I only managed deleting the information, I had added myself. So not all of the tracked steps etc. which was the main point.

A note of warning on doing this. All the awards you’ve won on your Apple Watch will disappear. So the special edition awards, or the 1000 workouts award, they will all disappear.
