Grab the MacOS Ventura Default Wallpaper
MacOS Ventura includes new default wallpaper, but you don’t have to fiddle with installing the beta or wait for the final version to get your hands on the snazzy new desktop background decoration.
The macOS 13 Ventura default wallpaper kind of looks like an abstract California poppy, continuing with Apple’s long-running theme of using abstracted designs as their default wallpapers.
Below we’ve posted the two macOS Ventura default wallpapers, for both light mode and dark mode.
Click on either thumbnail to launch the full size image into a new window, where you can save it to whatever your device is and set it as the desktop background or wallpaper.
If neither of these fit you, you can always checkout the default iOS 16 wallpaper too, or browse our wallpaper posts to find many others as well.
These are absolutely beautiful images. I can’t update to Ventura just yet, legacy software :) but at least I can grab these. Thanks!
Boring wallpapers compared to Big Sur, Catalina, Sierra.
My wife had a few things to say about this image choice.
The *REAL* OS wallpapers are over 30 megs in size. These 2 are barely 2 megs each. They are not the real wallpaper, they are smaller images of them.
