If you haven’t yet updated to the latest iOS and iPadOS releases, you may want to take a few steps to prepare your device for iPadOS 13 or iOS 13.
Now I canβt print my notes! It isnβt even an option anymore.
This needs to be fixed NOW!
iOS 13.1.2 installed today on iPhone SE still drains the battery.
Itβs been a complete disaster on my iPad. Can I get rid of it and go back to IOS 12?
No you can’t downgrade back to ios 12.4.1 Apple had stopped signing it :( So it look like you stuck with the buggy ios 13
During the update of iPadOS 13.1.1 my iPad Pro is stuck in apple logo and progress bar, for 24 hours !!!! Any recommendation?
If you have a full backup of your iPad and it has been stuck at 99% completion for 24 hours, maybe force reboot it, but you could end up bricking your iPad and have to use DFU restore and then restore from the backup. It is risky is it is not a good idea.
This update certainly “fixed” my iPhone 7 battery. I can no longer
charge to more than 98% even after 5 hours on charge.
My iPhone X battery runs down faster than ever with the iOS 13.1.1 update.
Today I unplugged it this morning with full 100% charge and it has not been used at all other than a quick glance at emails, and done nothing at all since but sit around, and it’s already at 55% after 5 hours of sitting still doing nothing.
What a “battery fix” this iOS 13.1.1 update is! It made my iPhone X battery MUCH WORSE!
When will I learn to NOT update these iPhones if I want them to last? Fool me once…
In my iPhone 8,13.1.1 has a battery drain problem. It was normal in 13.1.
Charge was 46%, in two hour of normal usage it is now 21%.
Had update this morning all 3 devices:
My iPhone X
My iPhone 6S
My Ipad Air 2
all took around 20 minutes
Update won’t appear on my iPad, it was running the beta and I removed the beta profile, rebooted iPad, but the new iPadOS update still won’t show up. Anyone seen this, what to do about it?
Maybe iPadOS 13.1.1 is not really available for some of us?
Force restart did it for me
I canβt seem to download the update, my iPhone 6s ios13.1 drains battery too fast, please Apple do something ππ
Then what I would like to know, if its only a 70Mb upgrade, why is it downloading 3.67Gb?
Updates usually shown in small sizes, like today 114Mb but downloading 3.667Gb.
I bit of a drain if on a limited data package!
I keep getting: The iPhone “(my phone’s name)” could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible.
This happened on restore or update.
Getting the ipsw from OSX Daily always worked before.
I have been trying for hours to download the iPadOS 13.1.1 update for my iPad 11 but cannot do so. I keep getting message that my software is up to date. I wonder what is going on.
This update is really the longest Iβve ever seen…. Mines been updating for hour and 30 mins now
I had earlier installed iOS 13 beta.. and beta version was updated to beta 13.1..
But now when 13.1.1 is out, I am not able to find the update appearing on my iPhone,, why is that??
Remove beta profile
Yes, my Xs took about ten minutes including download.
Just kicked mine off this morning on 11 Pro Max and taking over 15 min so far.
Did it finish updating in the end or did you have to force restart ?
15 minutes is barely any time, mine took over an hour for a tiny 13.1.1 update.
Updates will always finish updating on their own, NEVER force restart during a system software update or you will likely brick your iPhone and require a DFU restore and lose the data on it. Don’t do that!
iOS 13.1.1 is taking FOREVER to install on my iPhone X, it was like a 70mb update but it has taken over an hour so far and its still on the black screen with an Apple logo and a progress bar.
Anyone else see really long update times with iOS 13.1.1? I’ll try it on my iPad later, I probably should have postponed my iPhone since I need it to work during the day!!
Apple should prioritize speeding up iOS updates and also make it so they can’t brick a phone, Android does that well, and so does the Nintendo Switch.
I just updated my 6s – took 7 minutes once the download was complete.
