iOS 13.3 & iPadOS 13.3 Update Released for iPhone & iPad
Apple has released iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 for iPhone and iPad.
The new update includes bug fixes and enhancements, and also includes several new features in the new software update, including the ability to set communication limits through Screen Time.
The full release notes accompanying the downloads of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 are included further below.
Separately, Apple has released MacOS Catalina 10.15.2, tvOS 13.3, watchOS 6.1.1, and iOS 12.4.4 for some older iPhone and iPad models.
How to Download & Install iOS 13.3 or iPadOS 13.3 Update
Always backup the iPhone or iPad to iCloud, iTunes, or Mac, before installing any system software update. Failure to backup can lead to permanent data loss.
- Open the “Settings” app on iPhone or iPad
- Go to “General”, and then go to “Software Update”
- Choose “Download & Install” when the update for ‘iOS 13.3’ or ‘iPadOS 13.3’ shows as available to install on the device
The iPhone or iPad will reboot itself automatically to complete installation of the software update.
You can also update to iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 through a computer by connecting an iPhone or iPad to a Windows PC with iTunes, or a Mac with iTunes or MacOS Catalina.
Advanced iPhone and iPad users can also choose to use IPSW files to update system software, a process which also requires a computer. The links below point to the IPSW firmware files from Apple servers.

It’s generally a good idea to regularly install software updates on any iPhone or iPad that is compatible with the latest system software. This insures that bug fixes and security enhancements are included on the device, and sometimes updates can resolve other issues like battery draining or other erratic behavior.
Note that sometimes an iPhone or iPad with iPadOS 13 or iOS 13 may feel slow briefly after installing a software update, this is because the system software may rescan and reindex data on the device. Typically simply leaving the device plugged into a power source for a while is enough to remedy that if it occurs.
Additionally, Apple has also released software updates to other products, including MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 for Mac users, tvOS 13.3 for Apple TV, and watchOS 6.1.1 for Apple Watch.

This is the worst update ever? Wish I never updated. I can’t believe all the changes! Since I have Fios I use AOL mail. Now in order to download attachments I have to buy an app for $53. WTH! All the spam mail is going thru now too! Facebook is completely messed up! I DON‘T LIKE THIS!! This was a major overhaul.
You can use AOL with the Mail app, just add the @aol.com email address during the new email setup process discussed here:
https://osxdaily.com/2017/04/19/add-new-email-account-ios/
I have an AOL email that I use with Mail app an iPhone and iPad, it works fine. You absolutely do not need to buy any app for reading AOL email.
Thx. It’s thru aol mail. I still have a Verizon.net email address.
I went back to an old iPad! Like I said, I can’t stand the new update! Cheers….
In the new iPad os it seems that mail has a new “feature”.
When reading mail with mail list on the left 1/4 of screen and the mail on the right 3/4 of the screen, opening a link to a news story, it opens another window that takes up the right 1/4 of the screen, that floats over the screen below it.
Theis new screen is too small to be able to read anything. I have not been able to find a setting yo get rid of it. It used to open the link on the entire right 3/4 of the screen.
What happened?? Note that I am a user, not an expert.
And this update does not bring any new transgender or sexless emoji????
There are not any new Emoji in this one, including inclusive, non-binary, gender fluid, or LGBTQIA+ emoji. You can put in a request to Apple at apple.com or call them and ask them about including new Emoji if you would like to have your voice heard about a specific Emoji that you think is missing.
iPad Pro 1st gen. iPad seems sluggish after 13.3 update. Tap an icon and there’s just a slight delay before the apps launch. Apps start slower also. Hope 13.3.3 supplement fix’s it.
Can someone please help and explain why the update of iOS shows 633MB and where is that download data amount available?
Each time I update the data is anywhere between 3-9GB via iTunes.
It’s killing me on data allowance.
Same on my iMac.
12.4.4 links?
Where is the download of only 633mb available?
Last two upgrades were 3 & 5Gb.
Can anybody please explain why each time a new update release shows an update and a data amount as this pne for example 633mb.
Then when I download every update has been anything from 3Gb to 9Gb this year.
No update screenshot on osdaily is ever shown it is anywhere near 1Gb?
Anybody help where these small data updates can be found. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Yay! I’ve got the call badge, gmail deletion, & fuzzy images bugs. Haven’t been able to download the update yet though, Apple’s servers?
Have my fingers crossed that these bugs are truly fixed 😊
