Beta 4 of iOS 14.7, macOS 11.5, iPadOS 14.7 Released for Testing

iPadOS 14 and iOS 14 public beta

Apple has released the fourth beta versions of iOS 14.7, macOS Big Sur 11.5, iPadOS 14.7, tvOS 14.7, and watchOS 7.6.

The new beta versions are available now to users who are enrolled in the beta testing programs for the current generation system software versions. These beta releases are separate from the ongoing betas for iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey 12, and are currently available as macOS Monterey beta 2, iOS 15 beta 2, and ipadOS 15 beta 2

No new features are expected in these beta releases, suggesting they will focus primarily on bug fixes, minor enhancements, and security patches.

iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 include a variety of new features and improvements that are being worked on in the beta builds, including bringing new features to FaceTime like screen sharing and grid view of participants, a redesigned Weather app for iPhone, a Focus feature for Do Not Disturb, redesigned Notifications, redesigned Safari tabs and tab grouping, Safari extensions, the ability to select text within photos and images with Live Text, improvements to Maps and Health app, changes to Photos, Music, Spotlight, and more. iPadOS 15 includes the iOS 15 features plus some iPad specific features, including the ability to place widgets anywhere on the home screen.
