iOS 10.2.1 Update Released for iPhone, iPad [IPSW Download Links]

Apple has released iOS 10.2.1 for all compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. The update includes multiple bug fixes and security enhancements and is therefore recommended that users install the system software update.

Separately, Apple also released software updates to MacOS 10.12.3, tvOS 10.1.1, and watchOS 3.1.3.

Be sure to backup your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch before beginning any software update with iOS. The easiest way to do that is with iCloud through the Settings app, but you can also backup with iTunes on a computer.

How to Download & Update iOS 10.2.1

Backup your iPhone or iPad before installing the software update:

1. Open the “Settings” app and go to “Software Update”
2. Choose “Download and Install” when iOS 10.2.1 becomes available

The device will reboot to complete the installation.

Users can also choose to update their iPhone and iPad with iTunes and a computer.
