Fans of the dystopian sci-fi genre might be interested in watching the first full episode of the Apple TV+ show “Silo”, which Apple has made available to watch in full free on Twitter (and embedded below).

Apple describes Silo as follows:

“In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground. After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.”

The full first episode, can be watched from this Twitter embed or on the Twitter website.

If you’re like me, you may not have heard of this show until now, however, the official trailer will give you a taste of what is to come:

Silo has a praise-worthy audience score of 87% on reviews and ratings aggregator Rotten Tomatoes with many positive reviews from fans of sci-fi and dramas, however some reviewers have reported the show is slow or boring.

Like most streaming services, shows on Apple TV+ are generally popular, but have faced some criticism for being “woke”, overly political and preachy, or lacking vision.

Apple TV+ is free to try out for a week, and then, if you’re interested in adding it to your lineup of paid streaming services, it costs $7/month. You can check out a free trial or signup at https://tv.apple.com.

I have Apple TV and have watched almost every offering they have and there are a huge amount of excellent programs and I highly recommend it.
However, i gave up on Silo after the third installment. I found it mostly boring with poor acting and dialogue.
But go for Apple TV especially if you are getting to try it at a discount!

Just FYI but most new iPhone and Mac purchases come with 3 free months of Apple TV, which is more than enough time to watch any good shows and avoid any fees.
