Watch Jimmy Kimmel Rip the iPad Mini [Video]

Every time Apple launches a new product, a bunch of comedy surfaces around it to give us all some laughs. Now it’s late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s turn, and he’s jumping on the the good-humored iPad Mini bashing bandwagon in an amusing comparison of past and present Apple products. No further spoilers, but check out the video below:
If you missed the first couple of Conan skits on iPad Mini, they’re hilarious too.
Would be possibly funny except it’s paid advertising by Samsung. Seems the Kimmel show recently got a Samsung sponsorship. You’ll note all the Samsung commercials now airing at breaks in the show. Nothing new, just the opposite of product placement – competitor product defamation. I guess their sponsor Samsung wouldn’t appreciate it if Kimmel did a skit showing the Samsung tablet designers huddled in a room for six months (the time to design their tablet) while the lead designer didn’t have time to breast feed her baby. It took them that long to reverse engineer and copy down the the icons and fonts the iPad which was took 6 years of long research to produce.
Conan’s skits are very funny and he does have a point on the continual changes even though I’m an Apple-ite through and through. Continual changes aren’t an issue unless you suffer from one-upmanship. I’m quite content running older stuff.
PS All the way from GB to San Francisco for the first time back in 1998 and what is my smiliest photo taken beside? Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower?

If I’m not mistaken, Kimmel’s area of endeavor is what passes for comedy. Why do his musings appear here?

wow this was so boring. At least conan’s skits are funny.. this was just low. ZzZzZzZzZZ whoever wrote that “joke” should get fired.

Funny, but it’s starting to feel like easy-pickings. But then again there’s no such videos for competitors because they just aren’t as populars :)
