If you use the Tags feature to tag files and folders on the Mac you may find it helpful to know that you can edit and rename tags to be more descriptive or to better suit your purposes for those tags.
For example, perhaps you want to rename some tags to be used as indicator of priority, so rather than having a tag simply named “Red” or “Blue” you could rename those tags to be “Urgent” and “Low Priority”. Or perhaps you’d like tags named something like “Personal”, “Family”, and “Work”, or to be project specific, or anything of that sort. Renaming tags on the Mac is easy, as you’ll see.
If you’re an iPhone or iPad user with a Spotify account and you happen to be visiting another location with Sonos Speakers, you might be interested in outputting the sound output from the iOS device to the Sonos speaker system. Usually Sonos speakers rely on the dedicated Sonos app to interface with, but that’s not always necessary, and if you have an iPhone or iPad and you’re a guest at a location with a configured Sonos speaker, you can typically export Spotify audio to the Sonos speaker without needing to login to anything or download the Sonos app at all. Essentially this lets you use Spotify with AirPlay outputting sound directly to a Sonos speaker as a guest.
Some Mac users may be aiming to turn off FaceTime because they have noticed the app launches itself automatically. Some have even noticed that FaceTime opens itself automatically on boot when the computer restarts or on system startup.
Sometimes this happens because of saved states and the user left FaceTime open before rebooting the Mac, but other times it appears to be a bug or issue with the FaceTime plist file and in those situations removing that preference file can often remedy the issue.
Additionally, some FaceTime features make the app open automatically when an inbound FaceTime call is being received on the Mac, and that can be addressed too.

Want to clear and disable Significant Locations data stored on your Mac? For some quick background, your Mac will attempt to determine what locations are significant to you in order to provide you with location related information for Maps, Photos, Calendars, and with other apps too. These stored places are referred to as “Significant Locations” and can be very helpful for traffic and directions predictions, along with other location related assistance.
Some Mac users may prefer to disable the Significant Locations feature and clear any existing Significant Locations data from the Mac, and this tutorial will show you how to do that.

The iPad has a beautiful screen, there’s no doubt about that, but once you’ve handled it for a while you might notice the screen gets dirty. And of course if your hands are dirty, the display of the iPad will get dirtier more quickly. The dirty iPad screen factor really grows if you let children use iPads too, as the display can pick up whatever is on their hands and fingers. Perhaps the worst thing about the iPad is that it shows up fingerprints and smudges so easily, this is despite the fact that the screen has an anti-oil coating on it, and many of us like to keep that nice shiny black glass looking as pristine as possible.
So, how do you clean the iPad screen? Fortunately cleaning the iPad display is quite easy to do safely. This applies to all iPad models, including iPad, iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air.
Apple has released the first developer beta of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 to users who are enrolled in the iPhone and iPad beta testing programs.
The issuing of a first point release beta could suggest that development of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 has finished already (with the last version being iOS 13 beta 8), and thus Apple may be moving forward with beta testing the next scheduled release version. It could also mean that Apple is simply beta testing two future versions of iOS and iPadOS at the same time.
