Invert iPhone 4 display to White on Black text

Oct 13, 2010 - 4 Comments

invert iphone display You can invert the display of the iPhone 4 much like you can on a Mac, which changes the text to be white on black for a much higher contrast viewing experience. Here’s how to do this:

  • Tap on “Settings”
  • Select “General”
  • Tap “Accessibility”
  • Tap the ON/OFF toggle next to “White on Black” to invert the display

This also makes a good prank to play on someone with an iPhone 4. This feature does not appear to be present in older versions of the iPhone.

Triple clicking the Home Button does nothing until you assign it a function via that same Accessibility menu.

This works on my 3GS/iOS5, by the way.
