After updating my iPad Pro battery drain is excessive. Safari now eats 50% of my battery life in 2 hours. Update regret.

I have had Auto update enabled since available and it has never done it. Keep saying it will do it “tonight.” Going to wait a week to see if it does since this doesn’t involve major security issues. Have strong WiFi and neither iPhone or iPad have updated so far.

Spoke to soon. Preparing update lingered.

Install came up and said we have a problem, try later. Is there something else that I could do?

We no longer have automatic updates?

    thanks

  4. Coleman James says:

Does this update fix the iPhone battery drain problem where some apps kept updating in the background even though that feature is turned off?

I had to delete some apps that updated continuously after the 13.5 update and would drain my phone battery overnight. Hopefully this update fixes the problem and I can reinstall them.
