How to Turn Off & On iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14

- Press and hold either Volume Up or Down button, and the side Power/Lock button concurrently until you see the “Slide to Power Off” screen appear
- Now slide on “Slide to Power Off” to shut off the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro
- To turn the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 back on again, simply hold the side Power / Lock button until you see the Apple logo appear on screen
That’s all there is to it, now you know how you can turn off the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Turning iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Pro Off and On Again is a Soft Restart
For what it’s worth, turning the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. off and back on again is basically a soft restart of the device.
Contrast that to a hard force restart of the same device, which interrupts whatever is going on and forces the iPhone to reboot.
Knowing how to perform both a typical restart and a force restart are valuable troubleshooting techniques for iPhone users, and can be employed whenever something isn’t working as expected on the device.
David Jameson is correct. It’s a waste of time and effort. My old iPhone turns off just by pressing the power button off. Apple new phone designers want to show off their foolishness!
