MacOS Ventura Beta 2 Available to Download
Apple has released the second beta version of macOS Ventura to Mac users enrolled in the developer beta testing program.
macOS Ventura includes Stage Manager, a multitasking feature that groups windows together, refinements and new features in Messages app, Mail app, new Safari tab grouping features, Handoff with FaceTime support, the addition of the Weather and Clock app, and a variety of other improvements to built-in apps, a redesigned System Preferences relabeled as Settings to match iOS/iPadOS, and much more.
Any registered Apple developer can install macOS Ventura beta right now if they wish to, though the early beta builds are quite buggy and not recommended for users who are not actual developers. A public beta will be available in July for more casual users.
Users who are interested can check out the list of macOS Ventura compatible Macs.
Mac users running macOS Ventura beta right now can download the second beta build from Apple menu > Settings > Software Update.
More casual users who are interested in beta testing will get a chance to download and install the macOS Ventura public beta next month.
Apple has said the final public version of macOS Ventura will be released this fall.
If you’re not up for running the beta but want to take a peak at some macOS Ventura screenshots, check them out.
Separately, Apple has also released iOS 16 beta 2 and iPadOS 16 beta 2 for iPhone and iPad, respectively.
