MacOS Sequoia 15.7.5 & MacOS Sonoma 14.8.5 Released

Apple has released MacOS Sequoia 15.7.5 and MacOS Sonoma 14.8.5 as software updates for Mac users running the Sequoia or Sonoma operating systems. These updates focus entirely on security patches, and do not include new features or changes.
Mac users who are running Tahoe can grab the macOS Tahoe 26.4 update instead.
Separately, Apple released updates for basically every other Apple device as well, including iOS 26.4 for iPhone, iPadOS 26.4 for iPad, watchOS 26.4 for Apple Watch, tvOS 26.4 for Apple TV, visionOS 26.4 for Apple Vision Pro, and an updates to HomePod and AirPods as well.
How to Download & Install MacOS Sequoia 15.7.5 & MacOS Sonoma 14.8.5
Be sure you backup your Mac with Time Machine first:
- From the Apple menu, choose “System Settings”
- Go to “General”, and then choose “Software Update”
- Look below the prominent Tahoe banner and look further down for the “Also Available” section to find “Update Now” for MacOS Sequoia 15.7.5 or MacOS Sonoma 14.8.5

You will need to let the Mac restart to finish installation of the update.
