Make Your iPhone Look Like a Retro Macintosh with These Wallpapers
If you’re a retro Macintosh computer fan you might like this fun wallpaper pack for iPhone, which makes your iPhone lock screen and home screen look a lot like a good old Macintosh from 1984.
The creator of these retro iPhone wallpapers, ogerx, says they are inpsired by the legacy of Macintosh, but with a bit of modern elegance. There are four different color options, and two wallpapers (for lock screen, and for home screen), per color.
The Macintosh Wallpaper Pack for iPhone is available as a ZIP file free download from Gumroad, just put “0” in for the price, and you can enter any email address even a fake one, to access the download.
After you enter the email and 0 price, just click on the download button to grab the zip file:
Once you extract the wallpapers you’ll find there are basically two matching wallpapers per color choice, one for your lock screen, and one for your home screen. You’ll use the trick to set different wallpapers for the lock screen and home screen to get the desired effect, or of course you can just use a single wallpaper if you prefer, or any combination you come up with. You’ll then want to place the clock and widgets up high on the Lock Screen to have them match the desired retro Macintosh look.
