Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft Edge browser will be coming to the Mac platform natively, meaning you won’t have to run Microsoft Edge in a Windows 10 virtual machine if you don’t want to, instead Microsoft Edge will run as a regular app on the Mac. Microsoft Edge for Mac is built off of Chromium and is actively under development, and while in beta there will be two builds available to try out for users who are interested; a nightly changing Canary build, and a weekly changing Dev build. Eventually a final version will be released to the general public of course too. A wide variety of Holidays are shown on the Calendar of iPhone and iPad by default, including many religious holidays, cultural holidays, secular holidays, national holidays, and traditional holidays. If you do not want these Holidays showing on iPhone or iPad Calendar app, you can easily hide them by removing the Holiday Calendar in iOS Calendar app.

If you’re looking for a unique Apple-themed screensaver for the Mac, the free third party Brooklyn screen saver offers a fun collection of stylized and fanciful animations of the Apple logo.

The animated Apple logos used in the Brooklyn screensaver appear to be based on various Apple logo animations seen during an Apple event from fall of 2018, presumably the creator of the screensaver extracted the logos from an event video or from some other means. If you want your iPhone or iPad to be silent for a while and not beep, buzz, chime, and pester you with notifications and alerts, then Do Not Disturb mode is for you. Do Not Disturb is an excellent feature which places the iPhone or iPad into basically a silent mode, where all inbound calls, messages, alerts, notifications, and other activity is temporarily silenced and prevented from reaching the screen. Critically, the iPhone or iPad will still get messages, phone calls, email, and notifications, they just won’t make any appearance on the device while Do Not Disturb mode is enabled.
