Mac Setups: MacBook Pro with 30″ Cinema Display

MacBook Pro’s are great machines, the only thing that makes them better is when you add an external display, and what better external monitor to drive than a 30″ Apple Cinema?

    please anwser fast ! ive just got an 30″ cinema hd display and a macbook pro 15″ 2010 ! but i cant use the chd display with my mbp cause everytime i connect them both, the cinema hd display identify himself as the “laptop” and the mbp as the external screen. maybe i use the wrong adapter, which one do i need to use this setup?

    I love all the set ups that appear on here but why do most of them have cables strewn everywhere. Cables are essential but look ugly just hide them!
