iOS 8.3 Beta 3 Released for Developers
A third beta version of iOS 8.3 has been released to developers. The new beta build is 12F5047f and includes bug fixes and feature enhancements for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
Developers who are currently running the second beta of iOS 8.3 can find the latest beta build available in the Software Update mechanism on their devices in the Settings app. Firmware IPSW files can be downloaded directly from the iOS Dev Center and installed manually as well.
Apple advises that beta software run on hardware that is dedicated to testing. Always back up a device before installing beta software.
Apple has not publicly specified what features or changes will be brought to iOS 8.3. However, according to MacRumors, iOS 8.3 is currently includes bug fixes and several new features, including support for wireless CarPlay, new diverse Emoji icon set with shading modifiers and some new icons, support for Google Two-Factory authentication, support for Apple Pay in China, and several new Siri languages. Keeping in mind that iOS 8.3 is currently in beta, these features may change before final release.
The most recent public version of iOS for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch remains iOS 8.2, which includes support for Apple Watch. There is no known timeline for iOS 8.3, but typically beta versions go through multiple releases before a final version is available to the public.
