MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Beta 1 Released for Testing
Apple has released the first beta build of macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 to users enrolled in the Mac system software beta testing programs.
The new beta release appears to focus on bug fixes, feature enhancements, security improvements, and other minor adjustments to macOS High Sierra. It is not clear if new features will be included in macOS 10.13.2, though it’s possible that support for iMessages in iCloud and Apple Pay Cash could arrive on the Mac with the next High Sierra release.
Anyone enrolled in the beta testing program for MacOS can find the latest 10.13.2 beta 1 update available to download now via the Mac App Store.
Currently the beta 1 build of 10.13.2 is available only for developer beta testers, but a public beta version typically rolls out soon after to users participating in the broader beta testing program.
Separately, iOS 11.2 beta 1 is also available for testing for users in the beta testing program.
The most recent final version of macOS High Sierra available to the public is the just released macOS 10.13.1 update, which includes a variety of bug fixes and enhancements to the latest Mac operating system version.
wine does not work anymore with this update. Is there a solution?
Presumably Wine will get updated to support High Sierra, or whatever change came with the latest beta macOS update. Check with the wine app and wine developer for updates.
This version of Apples OSX has broken WINE that means a LOT of users will struggle with running Windows software on their mac that was working fine before.
Since the Update i cant get any Screen Recording work like ScreenFlow and cant use my Thunderbolt-> LCD TV there is no output to LCD… wahhh what did they do on the grafic drivers ?! bevor it was perfect
“The new beta release appears to focus on bug fixes” = ALL updates until 10.13.6 will be bug fixes, Apple hasn’t released a polished piece of software in years now!
You obviously haven’t been using macOS in a long time! I have never had a problem with a major macOS release. Ever. They have all worked well for me, and I have used every version of OS X through macOS High Sierra. If you have problems, why not call Apple and get help?
Agreed. I want my PBT. (Public Beta Test). Love this program.
Public Beta 10.13.2 v1 now available.
I have been using Macs since Mac OS 7, OS X is now a dog
I am curious how much new emoji will receive with this update :D
