iOS 16.7.3 & iPadOS 16.7.3 Release Notes
Release notes for iOS 16.7.1 and iPadOS 16.7.1 are brief:
This update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.
Separately, iOS 17.2 for iPhone, iPadOS 17.2 for iPad, macOS Sonoma 14.2 for Mac, MacOS Ventura 13.6.3 and macOS Monterey 12.7.2 for older Macs, and Mac users avoiding Sonoma, tvOS 17.2 for Apple TV, watchOS 10.2 for Apple Watch, and updates for HomePod are also available.
At update section you have to find “more information” or similar like that on the bottom of the update, and at this stage you will find other available updates.
The only thing I have close to “more information” is “Learn more…”. That just shows a long, dense page with what I assume are all the changes in 17.2. It doesn’t offer 16.7.3. In the description of 17.2 there is a link to the security updates page on Apple’s site, but that doesn’t offer any way to download updates.
I have a 2nd gen iPhone SE running 16.7.2, and 16.7.3 isn’t offered, only 17.2. The only thing below the iOS 17.2 announcement and description is Download and Install, which I assume will download and install 17.2.
Same here with iPhone 11 and M2 iPad Pro. I haven’t found any mention of this anywhere else so I thought it was just me. Don’t know if it’s a region thing – I’m in the UK.
Should have mentioned, I’m in the US. Maybe countries starting with “United” don’t get 16.7.3? 😆
