If you use the Tags feature to tag files and folders on the Mac you may find it helpful to know that you can edit and rename tags to be more descriptive or to better suit your purposes for those tags.

For example, perhaps you want to rename some tags to be used as indicator of priority, so rather than having a tag simply named “Red” or “Blue” you could rename those tags to be “Urgent” and “Low Priority”. Or perhaps you’d like tags named something like “Personal”, “Family”, and “Work”, or to be project specific, or anything of that sort. Renaming tags on the Mac is easy, as you’ll see.

If you’re an iPhone or iPad user with a Spotify account and you happen to be visiting another location with Sonos Speakers, you might be interested in outputting the sound output from the iOS device to the Sonos speaker system. Usually Sonos speakers rely on the dedicated Sonos app to interface with, but that’s not always necessary, and if you have an iPhone or iPad and you’re a guest at a location with a configured Sonos speaker, you can typically export Spotify audio to the Sonos speaker without needing to login to anything or download the Sonos app at all. Essentially this lets you use Spotify with AirPlay outputting sound directly to a Sonos speaker as a guest.
