Wondering how you can add another Mac to Universal Control in MacOS Ventura System Settings? It’s pretty easy, but enabling the feature and connecting a new Mac is a bit different than what you may have been accustomed to in prior MacOS versions.
Universal Control is the incredible feature in MacOS that allows you to control multiple Macs with a single keyboard and mouse, effectively linking multiple Macs together. You can even drag and drop files between them, and share the clipboard, making it a serious productivity booster.
Let’s walk through how you can add another Mac to connect to Universal Control, linking your keyboard and mouse to that other Mac.
If you’re a Homebrew user who is now experiencing a “zsh: command not found: brew” error message in zsh shell, you’re probably perplexed as to why the brew command line line tool is no longer working.
The reason you may be experiencing the command not found error for brew is because the zsh shell is not able to find the brew binary to execute for whatever reason, either because something is awry with your $PATH, or the Homebrew installation, or both. Thus, to fix the brew command not found error, we will perform a series of actions to reinstall Homebrew and then set the path manually if things continue to fail.
While there are various ways you can convert an HEIC file to JPG on a Mac, including using Preview or third party tools, by far the simplest way is available directly in the Finder for all modern MacOS users, and that’s thanks to a Quick Action.

If you’ve had enough of Nextdoor, the local social network neighborhood app that has a heavy focus on localized gossip, rumors, busybodies, nosy parkers, nonsense, and endless emails, you may be interested in deleting your Nextdoor account, or at least deactivating your Nextdoor account.
Either method will disable your account, and also offers an alternative method of stopping the endless Nextdoor emails if the unsubscribing from seven hundred trillion toggles was not effective or too cumbersome to you.
Do you have a bunch of contacts in Gmail or with a Google account that you want to sync to your iPhone or iPad? While you may have already added a Gmail account to your iPhone or iPad when setting up email, if you didn’t choose to toggle Contacts to sync, then you may not have access to those Google contacts that are associated with that account.
Not to worry, it’s easy to sync Google contacts to your iPhone or iPad and have them available natively in the Contacts app.
The Playstation 5 DualSense Edge controller is a popular game controller that is obviously used for the PS5, but you can also use the PS5 DualSense Edge controller for gaming with an iPhone or iPad if you’d like to.

Sometimes when adding an event to Calendar on iPhone or iPad, you may unintentionally add the event to the calendar on your local device, rather than to iCloud. This is often why a calendar event appears to not sync with other Apple devices, because if the event is stored in a calendar set to “On My iPhone” or “On My iPad” rather than iCloud, it will not sync between your devices.
Similarly, if a calendar event is set on a local calendar, you will not see the option to send an invite to that calendar event as the ‘Invitees’ feature is unavailable for local calendars, and only used for iCloud calendars.
If you want to learn how to change a calendar event from “On My iPhone” or “On My iPad” to iCloud, read on.
