Looking for some nice subtle wallpaper to space up your device background? How about a spin on that classic good old water droplets default wallpaper from way back in iOS 4?

Well that’s exactly what these reader-provided high resolution images of water droplets offer, and at a hefty high definition resolution it looks great as wallpaper on an iPhone X, iPad Pro, iPhone Plus, iPhone, or even as the desktop wallpaper on a Mac or Windows PC.

We’re serving up two versions of the wallpaper, one is vertically orientated and the other is horizontally cropped better suited for desktops (though the vertical orientation works fine on a desktop too) Click on the thumbnail images below to launch a new window with the full size version.

The vertical image resolution is 2500 × 3333 pixels:

The horizontal image resolution is 2600 × 1825 pixels:

Simply save the image to your device or file system, and set it as your wallpaper and enjoy! On the iPhone and iPad, you can set any image as your wallpaper through the Photos app or from within the Settings app, and on the Mac you can set a desktop wallpaper directly from Safari, or by saving it locally and then setting it as the background picture from the file system or System Preferences.

And if this image doesn’t float your wallpaper boat for whatever reason, then browse through our many wallpaper posts here and you’re sure to find something that will.

Thanks for sending in these great images and sharing them with us Gabriel!
